Gypsy vanners

The Gypsy vanner, also known as Irish Cob, Tinker Horse, Gypsy Cob, Coloured Cob, is my favourite horse. This breed is strong and hardy, very friendly and easy to handle, charming and incredibly beautiful. It is the perfect family horse that was bred by the Travellers of Ireland and England, to pull their heavy wagons (Vardos). The Travellers wanted, and needed, a strong, calm and steady horse with a friendly disposition towards all living creatures and with great charm and beauty. One must say, that with the Gypsy Vanner, they got it all!
